INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., January 31, 2019 — BioCrossroads today announces three prominent members of Indiana’s life sciences community have joined its board of directors: Aaron Schacht, executive vice president – Innovation, Regulatory & Business Development, Elanco US Inc.; J.J. Spegele, vice president, global business solutions, Covance Central Laboratory Services; and Dr. Ram Yeleti, executive vice president / chief physician executive, Community Health Network.

Schacht leads research & development, regulatory affairs and business development for Elanco Animal Health, following a 25-year career at Lilly in R&D, Strategy and External Innovation roles. Schacht is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for AgriNovus Indiana, a sister organization to BioCrossroads within the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership
Spegele has held executive leadership roles in operations, laboratory services, general management and information technology for clinical research organizations. He also served as vice president of global business transformation at Quintiles. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Health Informatics at Indiana University.

Yeleti provides clinical leadership across Community Health Network’s eight hospitals and more than 200 sites of care. Previously, he was the president of Community Physician Network and was president of Community Heart and Vascular.
