INDIANAPOLIS, July 12, 2016 — BioCrossroads today announced its agenda for the 2016 Indiana Life Sciences Summit. The Summit kicks off on Oct. 4 with two tracks – business and scientific, the New Venture Competition Winner announcement, a scientific poster session and the Cook Medical and Eli Lilly and Company Networking Reception. Wednesday’s lineup includes keynote speeches by internationally renowned speakers Dr. Gary Pisano from Harvard Business School and Dr. Rainer Fischer from the Fraunhofer Institute.
Dr. Pisano is the Harry E. Figgie Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, and author of several books including, Science Business: The Promise, The Reality and The Future of Biotech and Producing Prosperity: Why America Needs a Manufacturing Renaissance. Dr. Fischer is the Department Head of the Institute for Molecular Biotechnology (RWTH Aachen University, Germany) and Senior Executive Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology. Fraunhofer is Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization with research efforts geared entirely to people’s needs: health, security, communication, energy and the environment.
Additional keynote and panel presentations will cover the topics of success in innovation districts, entrepreneurial experiences, and breakthroughs and innovations at life sciences companies and universities.
