In today’s global, knowledge-based economy, communities are increasingly competing on the ability to educate, train and recruit a qualified workforce. Talent touches upon all aspects of economic competitiveness, particularly in knowledge-driven fields such as the life sciences and healthcare; therefore ensuring the availability of an educated, skilled workforce is critical to developing and sustaining Indiana’s robust life sciences and healthcare sector. To gain a deeper understanding of business needs as well as educational infrastructure and gaps, BioCrossroads partnered with TEConomy Partners to assess the need, requirements and approaches for developing talent and workforce retention and attraction strategies for Indiana.

In this Frameworx session, Mitch Horowitz, Principal Managing Director for TEConomy Partners, LLC will reveal the findings of the talent assessment and present potential strategies for Indiana’s life sciences and healthcare communities. A panel of experts will follow Horowitz to share perspective on industry demands.
