From food and phones to cars and the way we deliver healthcare, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence are changing the way innovation happens and how business is conducted around the world. The technological advances are changing Indiana’s economy at an unprecedented pace, driving significant investments by the state’s industry and research universities to ensure they stay ahead of the curve.

Companies around the world are in need of a diverse and large talent pool, including a number that have been trained at our nationally recognized university programs. How have our universities kept up with this evolving landscape from investments to enable research to changes in curriculum? How can we connect talent from Indiana and around the world to opportunities here in the state of Indiana? In the next Frameworx session on Feb. 18, 2020, we’ll hear from Indiana University, Purdue University and University of Notre Dame on their capabilities, investments and programs to support talent pipelines in data analytics and artificial intelligence.  And, we’ll learn from Ascend Indiana on ways in which talent can get connected to opportunities.

BioCrossroads’ CEO, Patty Martin, will provide an overview of the upcoming report, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics in Indiana: An Initial Discussion of Industry Needs and University Capabilities, which also includes a recommendations to support and catalyze new ways in which our university and corporate sectors can work together to drive economic growth for the state.

We’ll also hear from Indiana University, Purdue University and University of Notre Dame on ways they are working to leverage investment as well as help to recruit and retain talent in this space:
