BioIntellex.com will serve as a destination website for BioCrossroads’ substantial educational offerings, including third-party research, sector and sub-sector reports, annual reports, educational sessions and conferences and other data compiled by BioCrossroads since inception in 2002. The data is organized by topic as well as date for easy searching, browsing and downloading.

The newest report posted to the repository, “Healthcare Driven Innovation: An assessment of opportunities in Central Indiana,” is BioCrossroads’ assessment of Central Indiana’s hospital and health system landscape and explores specific opportunities to drive innovative product and process improvements in the clinical setting.
“The current healthcare environment marked by increasing quality and cost accountability, evolving physician‐industry relationships and increasing physician-hospital alignment makes hospitals and health systems’ focus on innovation that improves the quality and efficiency of care for patients even more crucial,” said Matthew T. Hall, project director, BioCrossroads. “Through innovation, we see opportunities to leverage key assets within Indiana’s healthcare and life sciences sectors to discover, develop and commercialize better and more cost effective care solutions.”
In the Healthcare Driven Innovation analysis, BioCrossroads provides perspective on the principal Central Indiana healthcare systems and summarizes the major factors that are influencing care delivery and innovation today. The study includes an audit of proven national models to determine best practices, as well as an assessment of Indiana’s ecosystem through interviews and fact finding with Central Indiana hospitals and hospital executive staff.
