As an experienced business professional, we would like to thank you for your interest in the Accelerating Innovation in Science (AXIS) program. The AXIS community’s goal is to provide tailored, experienced, objective guidance and insights to entrepreneurs that result in the expansion of the life sciences ecosystem and economic growth by cultivating serial entrepreneurs and driving innovation “up or out”. In order to create a trusting unbiased environment, all mentors are required to sign a nondisclosure agreement, and are unable to join or invest in those innovators/companies that they mentor. These basic principles foster trust and form the basis for high quality open conversations to benefit the entrepreneur/innovator. The program is based on the successful model used by the renowned Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
